Privacy Policy

The short version. My Todo has no accounts and no sign-in, and it does not connect to the internet at all. It does not collect, store or transmit personal information about you. Your tasks and settings are saved only on your own device, and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
Who we are
My Todo is published by Mayaal, a software company specialising in mobile applications, television and set-top-box apps, and VAS platforms for operators.

The app has no internet access
This is worth stating plainly, because it is unusual and because you can
verify it. My Todo does not request the INTERNET permission.
Android will not let an app send or receive network traffic without it,
so the app is not merely choosing not to contact a server — it is unable
to. There are no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no cloud
sync and no third-party services of any kind.
The one exception is a link you tap yourself: the “mayaal.com” and “Privacy policy” links in the app hand a web address to your own browser, which then opens it. Your browser makes that request, not the app.
What the app stores on your device
The following is kept locally, in the app's own private storage. It never leaves your device, and we have no way to read it:

If you have your device's own backup switched on — Google Backup on Android, or iCloud on iPhone — this app's data may be included in that backup and restored when you reinstall or set up a new device. That backup belongs to you and lives in your Google or Apple account; we have no access to it. You can exclude or delete it in your device's backup settings.
What we do not do
- No user accounts, registration or sign-in.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or file access.
- No reading of your tasks. They are stored in a database inside the app's own private folder, which only the app can open.
- No selling or sharing of personal information, because none is collected.
Permissions the app asks for
These are the only permissions in the published app, and all of them exist for one feature: reminders. If you never turn reminders on, none of them is ever used.

Children
My Todo is suitable for a general audience and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because no personal information is collected or held by us, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on your behalf. Data held on your device is fully under your control: delete individual tasks in the app, clear all completed tasks at once from the Completed section, select several tasks and delete them together, or uninstall the app to remove everything it has stored on that device. If you also keep a Google or iCloud backup, remove it there too — see the note above.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
