Privacy Policy

The short version. Color Notes has no accounts, no sign-in and no internet connection. Everything you write stays in the app's own private storage on your device. We never see your notes, and there is no server for them to be sent to.
Who we are
Color Notes is published by Mayaal, a software company specialising in mobile applications, television and set-top-box apps, and VAS platforms for operators.

The app has no internet access
This is worth stating plainly, because it makes most of a normal privacy policy unnecessary. The Android build of Color Notes does not request the internet permission. It is not that the app chooses not to send anything — the operating system will not let it. There is no server, no API, no analytics endpoint and no advertising network involved in running this app. Even the typefaces it draws with are included in the download rather than fetched.
What the app stores on your device
The following is kept locally, in the app's own private storage. It is never sent to us, and we have no way to read it:

That is the entire list. There is no usage log, no crash reporter, no identifier of any kind, and no hidden file of anything you have typed.
If you have your device's own backup switched on — Google Backup on Android, or iCloud on iPhone — this app's data may be included in that backup and restored when you reinstall or set up a new device. That backup belongs to you and lives in your Google or Apple account; we have no access to it. You can exclude or delete it in your device's backup settings.
When something does leave the app
A few things in the app can hand information to somewhere else. Every one of them happens only because you tapped it, and each hands it to you, not to us:

Text shared into Color Notes — from a browser, a chat, anywhere with a share button — is handled the same way as anything you type: it opens as a new note on your device and goes no further.
What we do not do
- No user accounts, registration or sign-in.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No cloud sync — your notes exist on the device you wrote them on.
- No location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or file access. The app requests no runtime permissions at all.
- No cookies. This policy page sets none either.
- No selling or sharing of personal information, because none is collected.
Children
Color Notes is suitable for a general audience and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because no personal information is collected or held by us, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on your behalf. Your notes are fully under your control: delete a note in the app, or uninstall the app to remove everything it has stored on that device. If you also keep a Google or iCloud backup, remove it there too — see the note above.
Exporting your notes needs nobody's permission but yours. Settings → Back up to a file writes every note into one plain, readable file that is yours to keep, move or delete. Any backup files you have saved elsewhere are outside the app's reach, so deleting those is up to you.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
